Hello! The National Flute Association Young Artist Competition is coming up in early August, and I'm very excited to be one of 15 flutists in the country competiting this year. To help get the nerves out and prepare before the event itself, I'm putting on a short solo recital!

I have really enjoyed working on these pieces – they're all new to me and have their own quirks, delights, and challenges. The concert will last about 45 minutes. I'll introduce the pieces, describe what it's been like to prepare and what the competition entails, and share a couple other short pieces that I just love playing:) I hope to see you there!
